Coffee with a view

Today I had a chance to check out Strata, a cafe on the 50th floor of the Bitexco Financial Tower. There are three restaurants/bars/cafes that are supposed to be going in on the upper floors of the tower, but they are taking far longer than expected to open. Strata is the first one to finally get its act together.
the building's lobby
After being whisked up 50 floors in a ridiculously fast elevator, you are immediately greeted with massive views of the city around you.

not a bad view to enjoy an iced coffee over
looking out over Districts 4 and 7
Phu My Hung
looking towards Pham Ngu Lao and Ben Thanh market
District 5
The windows on the east side of the building were filthy. That's a thunderstorm beginning its march across the city on the left.
downtown
Drinks at the cafe were understandably expensive, as this place is all about the experience. Not the cheapest  spot for a cold afternoon drink, but probably the city's most unique.

    1. An iced coffee costs a cool 90,000. You don't have to pay anything to go up.
